Jinjin in America
Jinjin, my wife, has been in the US for nearly a week now. Our cat survived the trip too and is having fun exploring her new home. She’s quite curious about items in the supermarket (Jinjin, not the cat), constantly asking me, “What’s this?” It’s very cute. I think our children are going to have an extra dose of curiosity - in a few years, when we have them!

Thanks for the status update Kevin. Well done to the both of you for hanging in there. I hope the visa difficulties don’t taint Jinjin’s honeymoon period in the US of A. I remember being pretty wide-eyed on my first (so far only) visit, but I gather that NYC is not representative of the US as a whole
Anyway, best wishes to you both and good luck for your future there together.

Thanks Bruce,
Everything is going well so far. I just hope the honeymoon doesn’t sour into culture shock for at least a few months.

Grats. Look forward to hearing how it feels to be on the other side of tha table. I’ve done exactly that for 2 years and counting now. Tough job in the long run, but worth it
