Jinjin Finally Has Her Visa
I am pleased to announce that Jinjin, my wife, finally was issued an immigration visa by the United States government.
Because my own work visa in China was set to expire, I have been in the States since July 2007. We had planned on Jinjin being here at that time too, but unfortunately she was denied the visa at her interview. We have had to be very patient for the past six months while sorting out the problem.
She will be traveling here sometime in the coming weeks.

Can you imagine what would happen if she was denied visa second time? I heard that after two refusals there is no point to try anymore.

Wow…what do you know? I just sent Jinjin a message on facebook yesterday wondering if she’d heard anything from them. Awesome. I hope to see you both soon….after the snow melts of course!

Hey Kevin, this is a little dated now, but wanted to say congratz on being able to have your wife rejoin you - that had to be a tough bunch of months. I’m sure the trials and tribulations with the immigration department are far from over, but that’s fantastic that she’s there now.
