1. The first hands to touch me in the world, my mom’s obstetrician, were Chinese. This seems rather poetically fitting.
2. I have a Leica Minilux 35mm that I would desperately like to mod into a digital camera.
3. I eat a lot of haw (山楂) fruit roll-ups.
4. I had an amazing six pack when I was fifteen because I did around two hundred sit-ups a day for a year. Unfortunately, that was twelve years ago, and I didn’t keep it up. One day…
5. The older I get the more awestruck I am by how many incredibly talented people there are in the world.
6. I’m terrified by globalization (Can any young, sane expat living in China not be? Brave souls indeed if you aren’t.), but know that working against it is futile, stupid and destructive.
7. I love public broadcasting and other public projects, such as libraries.
8. I love inline skating (which I do NOT do in China – though if you want to commit suicide it might be more interesting to do it this way than by jumping from a high building.), though I can’t do any fancy stunts or anything. I just like a smooth, open expanse of road and my skates.

Thanks for letting me know about Anonymouse. This is the first I’ve heard of it, though I’m not surprised. Probably something to do with keyword blocking similar to the problem Peter seems to be having.

What problems are you seeing, exactly?
Anonymouse loaded http://kevinsmith.wordpress.com with 18 errors when I tried it just now. The text was all there, but it looked like some of the CSS got lost in the maw. I got a reset when I tried refreshing. Same thing again in a different browser too.
You might be interested in the fastest workaround theoretically possible for WordPress and Blogspot blogs. I’ve even got the text file needed for it saved in my Box.net public folder which you can access via the Box.net widget in the Documents folder on the bottom of the front page of this blog.

Dammit! The older I get, the worse my maths gets! Sorry about that. I can add, really, just only some of the time. Anyway, you’re still not old yet.
What I see with Anonymouse, well, the usual problem, is that clicking on anything beyond the front page, comments, for example, usually gets me that old “can’t find it” message as if the comments section were blocked. I often have to try several times to get to the comments page.
And yes, I am aware of that work around, but it seemed just a bit too dauntingly technical for my tastes at the time, so I never installed it. I’ll have another look.
Box.net widget? Did I just stumble on another Anonymouse error?
