Wikipedia Down At Beihang
Update 4:43 PM Andrew Lih reports that the block is in effect elsewhere in China too. Hopefully it will only be temporary.
Both the English and Chinese Wikipedias are unavailable from Beihang this morning. They were both accessible as of last night. I’m having no problem accessing other unblocked sites across the internet. Strangely, though I am able to get in via Tor, I am unable to get in via the Wikipedia secure server. During the last block of Wikipedia the secure server was an alternative to using a proxy server and acted as a kind of back door to Wikipedia because it was not blocked. Hopefully this means that the problem simply lies with Beihang and is not the start of a national re-block of Wikipedia.

Blogspot has been blocked again for the last couple of months. Just when things seemed to be getting better…
