The That Girl Emily Hoax
That Girl Emily is some sort of marketing campaign masquerading as the personal blog of a girl named Emily who has vowed 14 Days of Wrath on her cheating husband. Pretty clever. I linked to it from a post on Thoughts of A Mole and at first thought it really was a personal blog. After reading through the archives though it became pretty clear that it was actually a hoax.
Anyway, it should be interesting to see what kind of buzz it will generate and whether it is for some new TV show or something. Also, I reckon they’ve taken a hint from the Steve Jobs Book of Marketing: be secretive–what happens after day 14?–to generate buzz.
